Review of Batman Begins (2005) by Ginger R — 16 Sep 2016
As Gotham is fighting a war against corruption and is in an economic depression, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist Bruce Wayne decides to take up the mantle and become the hero this city truly deserves.
As the Dark Knight soars through the skies at night, intimidating and preying on the fearful, he realizes the dark nature of murder and fear. While Scarecrow and the League of Shadows try plunge Gotham into the abyss and trenches of Hell, The messiah known as the "Batman" shows beyond doubt that a city as fallen and as immoral as Gotham; could be saved, and I got to tell you it's one heck of a ride.
Christopher Nolan (the genius behind this movie) makes a sharp transition into a darker and an even grittier superhero flick. But that's not the only thing, "Batman Begins" is way smarter than any superhero movie to date and it is certainly one the best movies I have ever seen.
