Review of Batman (1989) by Liam C — 12 Aug 2013
A classic. Truly enjoyable and Keaton being the definitive Batman and Nicholson being a fantastic Joker. Everything seemed right here. Batman seemed intimidating as opposed to silly and the characters felt real.
I noticed a number of very old cliches that have been spoofed and done to death but considering the impact this film had at the time and the time when it came out, I'm sure this was the movie that created them.
Good movie with a fantastic look to it. Such a great super hero movie, I loved it.
