Review of Batman (1989) by Francis L — 05 Jan 2014
Batman has a good few things going for it; Jack Nicholson's Joker, Danny Elfman's score, and Tim Burton's Gotham City to name a few. And while this film holds a key place in the history of comic book films, it ultimately has too many outlandishly bad moments, some lackluster action, and under-developed drama to place it in the pantheon of superhero films.
