Review of Batman (1989) by Miguel R — 26 Jul 2015
There's a lot to admire about the production design, as well as Keaton's and Nicholson's performances but overall this film did age a lot worse than some that are up to ten years older. That's partially due to sub par special effects but also a pretty odd timing, which makes for quite a few lengths.
You still gotta appreciate the film for starting the wave of comic book movies that are on such a high currently, but this film does not exactly look well under some scrutiny.
