Review of Batman (1989) by Greg T — 14 Jun 2013
Batman usually fails to find the right balance between kiddy silliness and dark and disturbing scenes, and the villain is often seen more than the titular protagonist. But the latter of those problems isn't such a bad thing, as Jack Nicholson was born to play The Joker, and puts on such a great performance.
The setup and visuals are also very good, it's just a shame we never see much of the Dark Knight himself until the end.
