For my film class I wrote an essay about the way Hollywood portrays gay characters in film in the past to the present. In my research I cam to find this movie... which I mentioned in the essay in a negative way saying how lesbians were portray as .

.. psycho killers. Finally I got the chance to watch the movie and now I regret writing that essay even though I got a 90% on it... I still regret writing it. This movie was rich powerful and full of suspense.

The music used to create the tension, the thrill behind every scene, the performance of Sharon Stone was unbelievable. In my research gay organizations fought and tried to ban this movie, I'm not going to lie as a gay man, understanding both sides of the story, I just have to say that it was just an amazing movie.

Full of confusion, charge of emotion, and rich in power. The struggle that you live as an audience, as a critic was intense, and it had me hold on to my sit the hold time. After I wrote my essay I researched a little more about the director, Paul Verhoeven, also mentioning in my essay about the lack of morality he has for his after work and previous work.

I would have to tell him... if I had the chance to keep it going. Fuck what the gay community had to say about this movie, and note like I said before I am part of such community, this movie instantly became one of my favorite films of all time.

Its a must watch, its a must buy, its a must keep, and it kinda remind me of cruel intentions, which is another strong movie full of lust, desire, and thrill.
