Ms Stone at her best as she effortlessly manipulates her co stars around her finger (and pretty much everything else :P), in stark contrast to her unconvincing efforts in the poor sequel. Don't let Verhoeven's injection of ample nudity put you off (he's Dutch after all!)- the $3m script is a tense and thrilling ride.
