(1992 Director: Paul Verhoeven) One word....s t e a m y...Murder mystery is just about my favorite genre. This one does not disappoint but is extremely violent. Well, well,I saw Basic INstinct 2 first..having never watched Basic Instinct. Hmm...Michael Douglas (Streets of San Francisco) as her shrink? Very interesting...sick, gruesome slaying of a prominent figure during sexual escapades is kept quiet by the Governor's entourage. Michael Douglas stars opposite Sharon Stone who plays a wealthy writer with borderline personality. STEAMY..
