I went into this hyped thinking it would be a fun, campy, tongue-in-cheek female lead comedy like Clueless or Romy & Michele. Anything but this marketing was so deceptive. I can’t believe Mattel greenlit this.
This movie is very insulting to its source material, any woman who enjoyed Barbie growing up and especially insulting to men. Visually it looks great I will give it credit but such great design and actors wasted on a horrid film.
This movie is ham fisted and mean spirited social commentary against men.
