Review of Baraka (1992) by Sean T — 29 Jul 2009
At its best, Baraka is an astounding art film depicting the diversity and majesty of life on Earth. At its worst, its mere scenery porn (which isn't necessarily a bad thing). Baraka isn't for everyone, and many (including myself, at points) will be bored with the film's lack of dialogue.
It is damn gorgeous, though.
