Review of Baraka (1992) by Samer M — 22 Feb 2013
Surely the best cinematography in any film ever (until Samsara I expect). There's no dialogue or plot, but a vague message emerges, some form of aesthetic poetry, to support it. It turns out that lugging 70 mm film, giant 20 pound lenses and ancient, computer controlled dolleys up mountains and into rainforests was worth it.
