As visually inspiring as it is Orientalist in its gaze, Baraka is captivating to the eyes. Conspicuously absent are Anglos and whites, Baraka offers up stunning vistas and glimpses into the natural world that are beautiful.
The time lapse photography of various metropolis are equally impressive. Baraka does lend itself to Orientalist voyeurism. 5 stars for the photography.
