Review of Bangkok Dangerous (2008) by Hnis N — 03 Feb 2010
The Plot in short-term: A hitman in a midlife crisis goes soft, gets romantically involved, grows a conscience on his last hit and gets wacked by his employers.
Looking at the summary and the cover of the DVD, you'd expect a great action movie with a twisty plot. That is not what you get at all. Ok, there are some good action scenes in it, but the storyline of the hitman, who teaches his successor and gets screwed at the end is getting old and boring.
I am a great fan of Nicolas Cage, but his latest choice in movies could set him back. The role of the hitman did not suit him at all.
I watched this movie for a 2nd time last night and I don't know why.
