Review of Bangkok Dangerous (2008) by Stuart D — 28 Jan 2010
A very mediocre thriller with a plotline none too dissimilar to Leon but miles away from that sort of quality. Cage plays a hit man in Bangkok carrying out a number of assignments hoping to complete that 'last job'.
He sees potential in his young errand boy & takes him on as his student. Along with this he meets a local woman. The action sequences are reasonable but the editing makes it look like a TV movie in places.
You kind of know what's coming but how it actually happens is the only mild twist.
