This isn't a bad film, the character are great, the plot is fine, the pace is steady, but as a replica of Tarantino's one-room-chapter-building-puzzles it lacks ... Tarantino. The shocks aren't shocking enough, the trauma isn't quite traumatic, the energy feels downplayed and with little effort I feel like this movie could've been PG-13 while maintaining similar results.
