Clearly inspired by Tarantino's work. If you are going to intimate Tarantino's lengthy dialogue scenes then you have to make sure your dialogue is world class. This is where this film falls short of any of Tarantino's work.
However it is a nice stylish noir mystery film with great visuals and soundtrack. I did like the way the individuals stories and fates of the characters are woven together. However, I did feel the finale was a bit of a letdown; there are loose ends left and subplots are not explored fully enough.
Overall though an enjoyable film.
