Review of Bad Times at the El Royale (2018) by Camilo C — 15 Oct 2018
Great flick, great directing and acting... Great plot... The smart use of the cinematography to add to the tone of the story, the editing, the way the story is told and relayed, great!!!! Subtle jabs and subtle themes in the plot, themes of human condition, the corruption in government and religion but also the idea of redemption, even sexual harassment, racism, ptsd of vets, child abuse, a lot of themes and the performances of the actors and the cast behind the camera relayed the story so well it was easy to find empathy in all the themes and walks of life found in the film.
. But more superficiality great story that sucks you in and holds you in suspense! Best picture of the year by far, and maybe of recent times, will be apart of cinematic history.
