Review of Bad Seed: The Truth About Our Food (2006) by Lilybeth P — 30 Apr 2013
Having seen the movie made me think if Monsanto have invaded Philippines as well. It made me want to do my own research about food sources that are also contaminated by GE products and are being distributed here in the Philippines. It is quite an eye opener that just because we live far from the major bio-tech companies doesn't mean we are safe from all these GE crops. Taking for example what happened to Iraq.
It is very scary to think how much power a single company has over food production. The influence they have, not just on the agricultural sector but on the government as well.
All of the people in the world should see this film to raise more awareness of what is happening to our food. So that more people will be vigilant to those sneaky actions that companies like Monsanto does. They coat their evil plans with the lure of higher crop production and concern to the welfare of the people, when all they are concerned about is power.
