Review of Bad Santa 2 (2016) by Rose S — 30 Jan 2018

Personally, the movie was...so so. The jokes were okay, if not extremely dark (SPOILERS: in the first five minutes, Willie pisses on the floor, sticks his head in an oven and attempts to hang himself by tying the wires of his microwave around his neck and tying it to his living room chandelier. As the movie progresses, we meet Billy, who claims he his not on the spectrum but it quite clearly autistic.

We meet his half pint friend who tries to murder him at least two times in the movie. We meet his mom, who turns out to be a metalhead. Together the trio break into a charity to steal its money....and save the day before some guy gets it himself...? Somehow, despite his old age, Willy fucks three girls in total. The first, the "love interest" who is potrayed as a good girl but switches her character almost immediately to get some "funny" sex scenes. Second was some random drunk woman, who is never mentioned again by anyone and may as well never exist. The third girl was a thirsty ho who had an addiction to old hippie guys or sex addicts because she's that desperate, but that's just so Willie can steal her key to get into the safe. He fucks the first girl another time. He doesn't get together with any of them.

Half pint gets shot and run over by Willie's psycho mother as he and her run from the police. Long story short, psycho mom gets caught....and happy ending?

It ends extremely crudely. It's been three days and I still can't erase that awful image from my mind. Willie goes to visit half pint, but instead pulls down his pants and places his old, hairy cock in various crude pictures as the credits appear.

In conclusion, it was pretty funny in some places, but there were multiple plot holes, the characters learned nothing, and were just as crude as they were when the movie began. The cheating guy doesn't even get mentioned. 2 stars out of 5, may enjoy when extremely drunk and sex driven like Willie is.
