Review of Bad Moms (2016) by Jake M — 27 Aug 2016
Bad Moms is a film that had potential due to the fact that it had such a great cast to it and because its from the same writers of The Hangover unfortunately though the film is only decent. Don't get me wrong some parts of the film were very funny but to be honest there were a lot of parts in the film that could have been much funnier.
I am a big fan of Mila Kunis and Kristen Bell especially after Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008) but they sadly don't deliver big laughs here and Christina Applegate and Jada Pinkett Smith do an alright job with their roles as well however the two of them have been in much better roles, honestly if it weren't for Kathryn Hahn this film would not have been funny in my opinion she was the films saving grace and thats a little surprising due to the fact that she's not necessarily a big named actress.
Though Hahn does the best job in this film even she had some flaws but not as big as the other woman in this film, and it still wasn't her best film she was much funnier in Were the Millers (2013) and Bad Words (2014).
Though Bad Moms wasn't the best film of the summer its still far from being the worst, if you want a fun, brainless, feel good type of comedy than Bad Moms could be the film you are looking for you.
