Review of Bad Moms (2016) by Quietgiant — 29 Jul 2016

I am clearly not the target audience for this film. I'm sure many moms will get a kick out of it, but avoid getting dragged along with them if you aren't one. It feels like if Nancy Meyers tried getting crude and making her own Bridesmaids.

Cheap slapstick and gross humor combine with pulpy wish fulfillment and unnecessary caricatures of the male sex. Still, the message at its core is worth telling and it did still make me chuckle a few times with the more nuanced jokes, so it gets a point back there.

I guess I should have known better what I was walking into.
