Review of Bad Moms (2016) by Caitlin C — 24 Jun 2017
I couldn't get past the 30 minute mark. I tried. I couldn't. The premise was funny, and Mila was relatable, personable, and funny. I wanted to like the movie. However, it continued to act like the entire movie was a trailer.
Every other scene blaired loud, trendy music for over a minute. Scenes played out outrageously, again, as if it were an eye-catching trailer, not a movie with a story line to follow. Kathryn Hahn was a little too unbelievable.
I can't believe that this would be watchable outside of once in a movie theater. At home, it was impossible to sit through.
