Review of Bad Day at Black Rock (1955) by Harry E — 24 Dec 2007
Terse, taut suspense movie, of few words and 'socially conscious' along similar lines as 'Crossfire,' except that was noir while this is more or less the residue of the Western in a modern (1940s) setting.
(Interestingly enough, Robert Ryan is the bad guy in both films.) Very effective.
