A very enjoyable thriller, somewhat in the tone of Blood Diamond, yet far superior, this film boasts crisp and enthralling performances by Spencer Tracy and Lee Marvin under the lush visual aesthetic of John Sturges.
The plot is somewhat predictable but the solid machismo exuding from the characters makes up for it in spades.
