Review of Bad Day at Black Rock (1955) by Alex S — 17 Aug 2010
This story plays out like a western, and a good one at that. The residents of Black Rock get more than they bargained for when Spencer Tracy comes to town. There is such a taut tension throughout the film that keeps you on edge, even if you've seen it before, and the suspense grows like the pressure inside a hot can of beans.
It's a classic for sure!
