Review of Bachelorette (2012) by Dustin B — 22 Aug 2012
This movie is Bridesmaids on crack. Literally. It is over-the-top, raunchy, sweet, hilarious, and surprisingly honest. The main characters of this movie have extremely unlikable personalities, but it's hard not to sympathize with each of them when they have their human moments (and you might not like yourself for wanting to know what it would be like to be in their circle of "friends").
Most of the male characters are counterparts to the not-so-loveable Regan, Gena, and Katie (all played brilliantly by the actors). Although there were only a few times when I laughed out loud, it was still really funny.
Anyone watching it would not get bored. But the humor's not for everyone. It can be easily dislikable when watched by the wrong audience.
