What?? Boys N the Hood was one of my favorite films and seven years later I get around to watching Singleton's "Baby Boy?" I think that was because I saw some other John Singleton films between those.
I'd have to go back to watch Boys N the Hood to compare and contrast, but it left me with that same sickly devasted feeling. Check it out when you're ready for another psychological downer.
