The film baby boy has a dark and serious story about the hood, the film is about a young man named jodi who is struggling with things such as his mother's boyfriend played by ving rhames because Jodi is scared that his mother would kick him out of the house because of the last boyfriend she was with had his brother kicked out the next time and which his brother had died after he was kicked out.
jodi is not just struggling with just problems with his mother and boyfriend but with his girlfriend Yvette and his son,and Yvette's ex convict boyfriend played by rapper snoop dogg who is after Jodi.
Baby boy is a very good serious hood film with a great story,great acting,great screenplay and great directing by John singleton director of boyz n the hood and higher learning.overall a good film.
