Review of Azumi (2003) by Momoji F — 16 Jan 2008
Over the top action as expected from Kitamura. Aya Ueto is cute but not convincing at all as a skilled assassin (needed more of a Kou Shibasaki-type actress). Lots of plot points didn't make any sense.
Still, it's fun watching this as everyone just goes for it and the ending sequence is unbelievable (in various ways).
