Excellent film. It did get somewhat melodramatic around the beginning of the final third and the scenes started to lose focus, as if the writer had forgotten the ending, but it recovered well. It can be forgiven for sagging a little bit due to the excellent performances and the fact that it didn't take ridiculous artistic license that would devalue the story.
That and De Niro's performance is just amazing to watch. Robin Williams does a great job as well. He doesn't always pick the best roles, but his ability to emote is up there with the best.
