Review of Awakenings (1990) by Lee B — 04 Feb 2011
I consider either Taxi Driver or Raging Bull as De Niro's best performance, but this could even better them both. He portrays his character with such raw emotion and conviction to the highest level.
William's performance is equally as strong, and the powerful writing cements the film. This is a moving film, that will make you cry.
