Review of August: Osage County (2013) by Joe M — 15 Oct 2014

If I had seen it when it came out last year this would've easily have my made "Worst of 2013" list. It's one of the more unpleasant movies I've seen in some time. It's a non-stop battle of which actor can out act the other until there's no one left standing. And after about an hour you just wish they would all shut the fuck up. But they don't. It goes on and on and on...

And then it ends. And then you realize after two hours that the character you wind up sympathizing most with, and who also turns out to be the smartest one in the bunch, offed himself ten minutes in.
