Review of Au Revoir les Enfants (1987) by Codie E — 01 Apr 2009
A nice film that intelligently uses the closed life of children in a Catholic boarding school to explore problems beyond the walls and discriminations and injustices in life. But the film felt more like a collection of scenes as opposed to a journey, which I found detrimental to the viewing experience.
This and a set of somewhat dull characters.
