Review of Au Revoir les Enfants (1987) by Jeremy B — 11 Jun 2009
Such a great film with one of the most powerful and tragic endings in film history.
Just revisited it, and again it got better. Louis Malle made a calm and simple drama inside a French boarding school during the WWII. A Bresson-like mood, yet with great performances especially by the children.
