Review of Au Revoir les Enfants (1987) by Bradley P — 01 Feb 2013
Au Revoir Les Enfants is a profoundly touching film of friendship and betrayal. A lack of romanticized memories of a childhood plays out similar to the themes found in The 400 Blows and If... Louis Malle`s film is an expertly constructed character based drama which focuses on xenophobia through it`s Nazi occupied France in which the characters reside.
