Review of Au Revoir les Enfants (1987) by Jesse B — 29 Nov 2009
The last ten minutes of this film are as heartbreaking as anything in Schindler's List. Maybe more-so, because Malle doesn't go on to show the fate of the children, merely saying it in closing narration as he knew it to actually happen.
Before this, however, is one of the best movies about friendship you'll ever see.
