Review of Au Revoir les Enfants (1987) by Joshua H — 22 Jan 2013
This is a film I will remember forever; it is heartbreaking. Louis Malle's Au Revoir, les Enfants tells the story of innocence lost and childhoods cut short during WWII. The acting is powerful, the script is subtle, and Louis Malle's direction is heartfelt.
Overall, one of the greatest WWII films I've ever seen because of its sheer power. Masterful.
