Review of Au Revoir les Enfants (1987) by Devin D — 19 Mar 2011
Superb story about two boys in a French boarding school during the Second World War. Beautiful dark green and blue palette gives a mood of despair and danger. The two main characters played by Gaspard Manesse and Raphael Fejto, give a performance that is truly compellingly laughable and heartbreaking.
This film will make you care deeply about it characters and will surly leave many in tears.
