Review of Attack (1956) by Eric H — 19 Jun 2012
This movie has some of the finest performances you'll ever see from Jack Palance, Eddie Albert and others. Palance and Albert are riveting as the gritty Lieutenant and the cowardly Captain respectively, who find themselves at war with each other as well as the Germans.
You won't find modern day bl...read moreood 'n' guts carnage in the movie, but you will find exceptional performances and a reasonably engaging story with some good fifties-style toned down war action on a budget.
See it for the acting and directing, it's a great movie on those strengths alone.
