Review of Attack (1956) by Simone P — 14 Feb 2008
Interesting, but too extreme in its depiction of war and military life. The final scene are also absurd and quite moralistic. However the movie is saved by the great performances of its leading actors (Palance, Albert, Marvin).
In the end, it's a bizarre and stimulating vision of WWII.
