Pre-WWI, two lovers from different classes have the odds stacked against them. A lie and false witnesses cause irreversible damage. The movie is seen through the eyes of a girl called Bryony (Cecilia's sister, who is played by Keira).
Keira gives her best performance yet. James is brilliant as Robbie. Modern day Romeo and Juliet -tragic love story.
