Review of At the Earth's Core (1976) by Jason O — 19 Jun 2009
Another fun cheese fest from the "Land That Time Forgot" people this time based on Burroughs's first Pellucidar novel. Free from traditional dinosaur design, the rubbers monsters are more weird and the landscape is quite psychadelic.
Add the legendary Peter Cushing, the fetching Caroline Munro and some beers and you're good to go. Special to me because it was the first film I saw at the legendary Oritani Theatre in Hackensack.
