Review of At the Earth's Core (1976) by Michael T — 05 Jul 2008
Its Doug vs the Dinosaurs round 3 (well, actually, this film came after THE LAND THAT TIME FORGOT). Peter Cushing is good as an absent-minded and terribly English professor. Caroline Munro shows up as another statuesque primitive maiden in need of rescuing by McClure (the sexual politics of this film have not aged well).
Turn your brain off and enjoy the "Midnite Movies" DVD version of this film.
