Still love the 80's cartoon/anime. I even liked the 2003 version of it on Fox... I think the movie did a fairly good job of handling this classic. Some real heart breaking moments and some heart warming ones as well. Plus its got you boy Freddie Highmore (of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) in it!
