Review of Assault on a Queen (1966) by Kevin M. W — 11 Jul 2017
Although loaded with plenty of cool pedigree (written by Jack Finney, screenplay by Rod Serling, music by Duke Ellington, and Virna Lisi) this work lacks the finesse (the director) to put it over the top but remains interesting enough to warrant a curious visit.
A group of strangers concoct a plot to rob THE cruise ship of the time. There's enough elements with zing to put this right on the edge of undeservedly forgotten cinema.
