Review of Arsenic and Old Lace (1944) by Robert G — 22 Aug 2008
What a strange movie. Starts as a romantic comedy, turns into a black comedy, veers into slapstick, morphs into a horror movie, and then swings back and forth between all of them. Cary Grant is wonderful, of course, in the most over the top performance I've ever seen from him.
Certainly worth watching.
