A deeply disturbing film that observes violence and its nature, not the Jew holocaust in specific. Directed with flair from Bryan Singer and containing one of the best performances from actor Ian McKellen, in a role that suits him better than the Gandolfs or Mangnitos that he play and equally unnerving is the young actor Brad Renfro. The film's plot is unpredictable as a film of this nature can go anywhere.
