This film has everything it takes to be a perfect film.The acting is great,the dialogue is great,the directing is great,and the plot and story are great.The way the audience is exposed to the horrors and the effects of war.
The movie is rare in the way it makes us feel like we are a part of the experience,a fly on the wall if you will.Martin Sheen takes the leading role and runs with it in a performance that deserved and Oscar nomination.
His run in with Brando gives off some great scenes and exposes wonderful dialogue.Apocalypse Now is the most exposing and honest war film of all-time and is a crowing achievement in cinema,thanks to the great directing and writing by Francis Ford Cappola.
