One of my favorite movies of all time. A masterpiece that transfers us from civilization into the depths of Colonel Kurtz's depraved kingdom. The surreal and dreamlike asthetic adds to the haunting feel of the movie.
Coppola also provides a plethora of classic scenes from the opening napalm run accompanied by The Doors, the Wagner chopper attack, Do Long bridge etc etc. After watching this movie I felt deeply affected on a emotional level like no other movie.
