Without a doubt the greatest war movie ever made. The film is essentially perfect- the cinematography, the dialogue, acting...It's incredible that a film with such a nightmare of a production is this good.
Also, this film has the best usage of classical music this side of 2001: A Space Odyssey. Verdict: A+.
